Damara Dik Dik hunt in Namibia

Gordon Johnson(81) from the USA and myself went to Namibia to finish off his tiny ten. The Last one Gordon needed of the Tiny ten in Southern Africa was the Damara Dik Dik. I drove to Johannesburg where I met Gordon and his friend Dave , we took a connection flight to Windhoek and drove about 4 hours north of there where we met up with another outfitter. The first day , we only went out in the afternoon for a game drive and saw allot of game including lots of Dik Dik , that already had me and Gordons exited. Because it was almost summer we had to go out early the next morning to get the Dik Dik while they are feeding. We spend about 2 hours looking around for them and the perfect male. We found a nice one bedded under a tree in the shade and got a nice clear shot at him. Gordon made a great shot and we got him. Congratulations Uncle Gordon , hope we have allot more hunting years together.
